Steven started on the shingles the day before.
My mom sizing the flashing. They had a piece of pipe that they had found at the dump that my mom gave us. And the flashing is also a dump find, but it was too big so we had to cut it and bring it in. I apologize for my camera strap getting in the way!
Steven riveted the cut and they hammered it down.
But it turns out that the old pipe had a hole in it, but the pipe we'd bought was the wrong brand. I didn't think brand would be an issue. If both brands claim they sell 6" pipe I would think they would actually be 6". Apparently it's different heat ratings or something. So we had to return the one piece and buy a new one.
